A series of makeup seminars that looks at beauty through the decades and how it has influenced modern editorial and runway makeup looks, as well as our everyday makeup. Featuring detailed demonstrations, these intense seminars will ensure that you understand the history behind each one of these vintage beauty looks and why they were developed along with the fashion and hair styling of their time.
‘The Powder Room Confidentials’ series is suitable both for beginners and professionals that want to expand their knowledge of period makeup, as well as vintage lovers and enthusiasts alike. Additionally, these seminars are perfect for people in the theatre and performance industry that want an in-depth introduction to vintage beauty and styling. – Limited to 8 places.
Certificate
A certificate of attendance will be given out upon completion for each individual seminar in The Powder Room Confidentials series. The certificate will be printed and signed by our educator, Crystal Michael, as well as produced in PDF format.

Bespoke Makeup Lesson
Gain an insight into professional tips and tricks with a fully-customised private makeup lesson that will provide you with the right application, products and tools knowledge, to achieve the look you strive for.
Choose between daytime or evening makeup or even a custom look of your choice and learn how to recreate it with a step-by-step, in-depth tutorial.
Although you will be given access to our diverse and extensive product range during the lesson, we recommend that you also bring your own products and tools with you, from your makeup collection at home. We can help you find out what might be missing from your personal kit, as well as recommend products that are suitable for your face shape and skin type.
Group Lessons
Do you have a friend that wants to join you and learn about makeup together? Not a problem, you can bring up to 2 friends with you, as long as you can all agree on which type of makeup look you wish to learn.

Hens Beauty Bootcamp
Our VIP package for #teambride includes a private, evening glamour makeup lesson, demonstrated on the bride herself, who will be enjoying a luxurious makeover for her Hens party!
The bridesmaids will be able to create their own makeup look using professional products and by following our simple, step by step instructions.
We want to create a beautiful and creative bonding experience for you and your bridesmaids that you will always remember. For that reason, besides sharing our professional knowledge and expertise with you during the makeup masterclass, we want to spoil you with a number of special treats!

Advanced Bridal Makeup Course
Master the art of bridal makeup and learn the secrets to developing a successful career in the wedding industry. Throughout the course, students are provided with in-depth information on how to create that coveted, flawless complexion that makes a bride glow, as well as techniques to enhance her features, while incorporating personal requests and current bridal makeup trends. In addition, the course further explores and expands on the professional role of the makeup artist within the bridal industry and provides valuable insight on how to make your business stand out in this highly demanding and competitive field. – Limited to 8 places.
This course is intended for upcoming makeup artists and beauticians that already have basic knowledge of makeup techniques and wish to learn more about the bridal industry and its market.
Entry to the program will only be granted to those that have completed a makeup foundation course and hold a relevant certificate.
We highly recommend students to attend our 6-day Pro Essentials Makeup Intensive that will provide them with all the necessary skills and technical knowledge of makeup application required prior to entering the Advanced Bridal Makeup Course.
